Our C-section Recovery massage butter is a highly nourishing and natural balm designed to aid in post-operative recovery from a caesarean section. The application of our herbal-infused oil and essential oil blend to the incision scar significantly enhances blood circulation and promotes tissue regeneration, facilitating the healing process of scar tissue. This results in softer, flatter scars, improving skin flexibility and reducing sensitivity and visibility over time. Infused for six weeks with rosehips, calendula, St. John's wort, and kawakawa leaves, the lightweight butter, enriched with avocado oil, sea buckthorn, and tamanu oil, effortlessly melts upon contact, allowing for gentle application along the scar without exerting pressure.
C-Section - Recovery massage butter
Start application from 4-6 weeks postpartum* depending on your individual recovery.
Take in small steps starting by lying flat and gently touching the scar, thie butter will melt on contact allowing you to spread it across the site without any pressure.
Once you feel comfortable, you can build up to massaging with slight pressure around the scar. Around 12+ weeks* you should be able to start massaging the whole scar with more pressure. Massage for 3-5 minutes 2-3 times a week. You can also apply butter daily to optimize skin nourishment.
